GCC response was among the strongest of any multilateral organization. Multiple GCC member states were directly attacked - US bases in Bahrain (NSA Bahrain), Qatar (Al Udeid), Kuwait (Camp Arifjan/Ali Al Salem), and UAE were targeted. GCC framed the attacks primarily as violations of member state sovereignty rather than in the context of the Iran-Israel conflict.
